Raspberry Suite #9

Beautiful colors for this challenge! Green is really out of my comfort zone, but I love it if it is the right shade.
I have always thought the egg and dart pattern from PTI's First Fruits coordinates nicely with Birds of a Feather. Here are two versions--one with Versamark on SU Garden Green, with a little frame around the image, and another with the pattern in black.

Card #1
Paper: PTI Vintage Cream, SU Garden Green
Ink: Versamark, Versafine Onyx
Stamps: PTI First Fruits, Birds of a Feather
Other: PTI black satin ribbon

Card #2
Paper: PTI Vintage Cream
Ink: Versafine Onyx
Stamps: PTI Birds of a Feather, First Fruits, Pond Life Sentiments
Other: PTI New Leaf satin ribbon

There will be two (2) $25 gift certificate winners chosen from the comments on our blogs, so comment away!  Winners will be posted on the Erin Lee Creative Blog on Saturday, February 1. First up:  Stained Glass Stencil I used some pearly embossing paste with this stencil, and as you can see, the results are nice and crisp.  I popped up the "hello" ( Big Hello Love Die ) on some foam for more dimension, and the card is complete.  With a great background like that, a simple word die will finish it without competing. Next up we have two products: L...

ELC Look On the Bright Side Kit

Hi friends,  Erin Lee Creative has a fantastic new kit today which coordinates with the previously-released Somewhere Kit .  It's called Look On the Bright Side , and it has a die, stencil and stamp sets with the most perfect sentiments for encouragement cards.  There is also a rainbow alphabet set available as an add-on.   Join us in our blog hop today and comment to enter for a giveaway (see below). Isn't this a great kit? My first card uses the rainbow burst stencil.  I pounced white ink through the stencil, then I used Polychromos pencils to color over the white ink.  This technique allows the color to stand out on dark cardstock.  Of course I had to add a little shine and glitter, so I colored over parts of the rainbow and rays with a shimmer pen. My next two cards were inspired by a T-shirt ad I came across, and I loved the ombré of skin tones.  I really believe that good things are coming, and I absolutely believe that we rise by lift...
