I have a couple of projects for you today.  There are so many goodies released this month, and I had so much fun creating.  There is such a wide variety of products that I'm sure you'll find something you love.

First up is the project I couldn't wait to start.  This Sunflower Background stamp is gorgeous no matter how it's colored.  I decided to make these flowers into purple coneflowers, because I have them growing in my yard, and they are just so summery.

Everything is colored with Copic markers, and I tried something new for me, which is to fill in the background with a black marker.  I love how it makes the flowers stand out.  This was so much fun to color, and I can't wait to try other combinations!

The Hello Word Die was just the perfect sentiment to add that wouldn't obscure the background.  I die cut it three times on white cardstock and layered everything for some dimension.

Next up is the Floral Wreath Stencil.  First I ink blended some white pigment ink through the stencil onto dark blue cardstock, then I used Polychromos pencils to color over the top of the ink.  This technique helps the colors to stand out on dark cardstock, which I love.

The sentiment inside the wreath is from the Boho Rainbow stamp set, and it fits perfectly.  (There are more rainbows!!!)  Again, I stamped it in white, then used colored pencil over the top.  After I colored everything, I used a shimmer pen on the flowers, which is hard to see here, but you can see a little of the stray glitter which escaped...

This month's release is going to knock your socks off!  Keep hopping to see all of the amazing products available in the store now.

Your next stop is my friend, Jen Timko, and the blog hop list is below.  Make sure you leave comments to enter!

Have a great day.

February Blog Hop

For this month's Hop, we are to pay homage to a member of PTI's Design Team. They are all so very talented! I chose a recent project by the amazing Debbie Olson . I loved her simple design with white embossed violets on Raspberry Fizz, with a few little details sprinkled in--sparkly centers, a scored edge and rounded corners. Just beautiful! I actually copied this card exactly, because it was so easy, but then I decided to change it up a bit. Here is my version in Enchanted Evening, with the smaller flowers. I didn't have the right color buttons, so I made a little fancy ribbon edge. The sparkles are flat rhinestone stickers. Best $1.99 I've spent in a while! Thanks for the inspiration, Debbie! May Blog Hop.

This month we were challenged to use yellow.  It doesn't seem like it would be that hard, but for some reason, it can be.  I do love the combination of Berry Sorbet and Lemon Tart, so I stamped the big flower from PTI's Everyday Classics  in Berry Sorbet on white, then cut it out.  The small flowers are stamped in SU Ruby Red and popped up on dimensionals.  For the leaves, I used the wings from the birds in that set.  Enjoy! Lil' Inker Designs Mini Release Blog Hop

Hello, friends!  So glad you're here, hopping with us.  (Go here  to see the full blog hop order.)  I am excited to show you this brand new stamp from Lil' Inker Designs , which is part of their May Mini Release.  Leave comments on any of the blogs in this hop to enter to win one of the new stamp sets, the new cover plate, or the angel pets goodies!  Details on the Lil' Inker Designs Blog . This stamp is called Never Regret Being Kind. (Keep hopping, and you'll see more!) One of the things I love most about this hobby is that it is inherently kind.  So what could be better than a stamp that encourages even more kindness?  Such a great sentiment! This stamp is easy to use as the focal point of a card...so easy, in fact, that I made 4 right out of the gate!  Each one uses a different technique--this stamp is so versatile. For my first, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on steel grey cardstock.  I then colored over the embossing with my Copics for a m
