March Guest Star Stamper Entries 2

Here are two more entries for this month's contest. It's funny--I'm not a big color-inner or meticulous cutter, but I am quite smitten by this set. I don't mind the time it takes, because the flowers are just beautiful.

I heat embossed the flower on Kraft cardstock, then I colored it in with a SU Pink Passion marker (the embossed lines are quite forgiving). I like how the Kraft paper darkened the ink a little. I also colored the center again with a black marker. I used my Making Memories slot punch to thread the ribbon. I am a bit nerdy with grammar, so I wish I could have a little comma stamp to put after the "you"...


This one is my favorite of the bunch. I love the springy colors together, and I surprised myself with a little Spring Moss polka dots. I am so NOT a green and orange person (flashbacks of my very '70's home growing up), but these seemed to really work. Again, I heat embossed on Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet and Summer Sunrise paper and cut out the flowers. (I need another comma.)

    Love your cards Cheryl! I wasn't going to get the Friends Till the End set but I did b/c I liked the sentiments and font so much. Coloring the flowers scares me but you did a fabulous job.

    I really like how you used the vine ribbon on the second card.

    These cards are BEAUTIFUL!!!! I just love the color combos you used. And that pink on the kraft...its like a whole new Fabulous pink! WOW!

    These ARE beautiful! And I heard about the leaf ribbon, but didn't remember seeing it, this is quite cool! And I appreciate the grammar nerd--I am right there with you! I am really wanting this set--I can see so many possibilities!
