Berry Monogram



I really like making monogram cards. I think they are a great gift for anyone, because they can be used for any occasion. This is part of a set of 10 cards I made for a friend of mine who recently celebrated her 30th birthday. Simple layout, fast and easy assembly.

Paper: PTI White, Dark Chocolate, Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush
Ink: PTI Berry Sorbet
Stamps: PTI Trajan Monogram
Other: PTI Beautiful Blooms die, Polka Dot Basics 2 Impression Plate, 1" and 1 1/4" punches,

    Oh so lovely and simple! Love the idea of monogrammed cards for gifts -- must keep that in mind! Do you normally do first names or last names? I guess I always associate with my first name more after getting married... Heh...

    I always do first initials. I think for girly, fun gifts, that's fine. I figure if LaVerne had her "L" on her shirt, I could follow suit, right? For towels, I might do last initial, but I'm not doing those anytime soon...

    So pretty! What a great gift idea...you could make the same card but in all the pretty PTI colors. I am totally doing this! Great idea!

Erin Lee Creative January Release

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the Erin Lee Creative January release .  When I received these products I sat down immediately and started to play.  There are such fun new stamps, dies and stencils.  I'm sure you'll find something you like. First up are two cards made with the same products...the  Stripe Background Stamp  and the  Stripe Sentiments Stamp Set .  There are so many possibilities with just these two products!  I started with an autumn rainbow of distress oxide inks: I really love how these sentiments fit perfectly in the stripes, and they look like the labels we used to make with those vintage label makers (remember turning the wheel and pulling the trigger for the right letters?).  They look especially good when heat embossed.
