Take a Break Coordinating Die

Cup Heart Die

This week, the kit is available for a discounted price of $39.99!

On to the projects!

I have a confession to make...I do not drink coffee.  I do, however, drink a fair amount of hot chocolate.  The stash in my pantry is ridiculous!  So even if you aren't a coffee drinker, these products can be easily adapted to whatever hot drink you enjoy.

This first card uses a stamp I love--how simple to have the hands around the cup like that.  I imagine she is sitting across the table from a friend, having a great talk.  Won't it be nice when we can do that again?  For now, this card will have to do.

See those stains on the kraft cardstock?  Those are made with a stencil from this kit.  Genius!  This Love You die is one of my go-to sentiment dies!  (Psst.  It's on sale right now, too!)

I colored everything with Copics and added some silver gel pen to the bracelets.  Doesn't that shirt look comfy?

For my second card, I used the add-on Cup Heart Die and the little insulated cup stamp from the big set.  This die is so clever!

I cut this image out from Holographic Cardstock.  Then I stamped the "love you" from the previously-released Winter Florals set in black, then heat embossed it with clear powder so it wouldn't smear.

If you love coffee, this kit (and the add-ons) are for you!

Remember to keep hopping and commenting for a chance to win this great kit.  Look at what great company I get to keep:

  2. The coffee stains are a fab backdrop for the sweet image on your first card and the colouring is lovely. The die looks amazing in the holographic card stock. I, too, don't drink coffee but have more coffee themed stamps than I probably should. Thank you for sharing your creative cards!

Erin Lee Creative November Release

Hello!  I am your last stop on the Erin Lee Creative blog hop for the November release, now available in the shop .  If you haven't seen everyone's creations yet, check the list at the bottom of this post. *PRIZES* Two $50 gift vouchers will be given to winners chosen randomly from comments on each blog in the hop.  Winners will be announced on the Erin Lee Creative blog on November 9. Let's get to the projects! First up are two cards made with the same products...the  Stripe Background Stamp  and the  Stripe Sentiments Stamp Set .  There are so many possibilities with just these two products!  I started with an autumn rainbow of distress oxide inks: I really love how these sentiments fit perfectly in the stripes, and they look like the labels we used to make with those vintage label makers (remember turning the wheel and pulling the trigger for the right letters?).  They look especially good when heat embossed. (Sorry for getting that song...

Erin Lee Creative January Release

Hi friends! Today we are hopping to show off the newest release from Erin Lee Creative .  Once again there is a host of unique stamps, dies and stencils, as well as some amazing rainbow holographic cardstock. *PRIZES* Be sure to comment on the blog entries in the hop so you can enter to win a $50 voucher to use in the ELC shop .  There will be two winners chosen at random from the comments. On to the projects: For my first card, I wanted to showcase this big and bold sentiment from the new Stay Golden  stamp set.   One of my favorite techniques is coloring with Copic markers over the top of white heat embossing.  It is a great way to make colors pop on dark cardstock.    Doesn't this stamp just beg for vibrant colors? So fun. The next card uses the new Nesting Stars die set, a sentiment from the Stripe Sentiments stamp set (previously released), and some ink blending with the Retro Swirl stencil  (also previously released).  I lov...

25 Days of Christmas Tags--Sunny Studio

Hello, friends!  Today I get to join a fantastic blog hop hosted by my sweet friend, Tracey McNeely .  Starting November 1, each day will bring tags made by fantastic cardmakers using stamps from each of the companies below.   *PRIZES* Be sure to comment on Tracey's blog and follow directions there for a chance to win prizes from each of these sponsors: Today I have the honor of sharing the tags I made with Sunny Studio stamps and dies.  Their layering sets are so clever and realistic!  They are offering a $25 gift certificate to their shop. First up is a tag made with the Petite Poinsettias stamps and coordinating dies .  These flowers are small but so detailed--perfectly scaled for a tag. Next are two tags made with the Christmas Trimmings stamp set and coordinating dies .  Again, the detail on these small layering stamps is amazing!  Those pinecones are so perfect.  I also used the "for" and "you" stamps from the Fruit Cocktail s...
