Hello again!

Hello again, everyone!  It has been a long time since this little blog of mine has seen any love from me, but I thought I'd start 'er up again and see how it goes.  Here's a card that sums up how I feel in general, which seems to be a good way to get back into this blogging thing...

Concord & 9th has quickly become one of my favorite stamp companies.  They are very clever with their dies and coordinating stamp sets, and this one is no exception.  It's a frame die that has interchangeable companion dies, and they are brilliant.  This combination is the Happy Card Frame Die with the Kind Card Frame Add-On.  Sentiment is from the Kindhearted stamp set.

Cardstock: PTI Berry Sorbet, white, MFT Steel Grey

February Blog Hop

For this month's Hop, we are to pay homage to a member of PTI's Design Team. They are all so very talented! I chose a recent project by the amazing Debbie Olson . I loved her simple design with white embossed violets on Raspberry Fizz, with a few little details sprinkled in--sparkly centers, a scored edge and rounded corners. Just beautiful! I actually copied this card exactly, because it was so easy, but then I decided to change it up a bit. Here is my version in Enchanted Evening, with the smaller flowers. I didn't have the right color buttons, so I made a little fancy ribbon edge. The sparkles are flat rhinestone stickers. Best $1.99 I've spent in a while! Thanks for the inspiration, Debbie! May Blog Hop.

This month we were challenged to use yellow.  It doesn't seem like it would be that hard, but for some reason, it can be.  I do love the combination of Berry Sorbet and Lemon Tart, so I stamped the big flower from PTI's Everyday Classics  in Berry Sorbet on white, then cut it out.  The small flowers are stamped in SU Ruby Red and popped up on dimensionals.  For the leaves, I used the wings from the birds in that set.  Enjoy! Lil' Inker Designs Mini Release Blog Hop

Hello, friends!  So glad you're here, hopping with us.  (Go here  to see the full blog hop order.)  I am excited to show you this brand new stamp from Lil' Inker Designs , which is part of their May Mini Release.  Leave comments on any of the blogs in this hop to enter to win one of the new stamp sets, the new cover plate, or the angel pets goodies!  Details on the Lil' Inker Designs Blog . This stamp is called Never Regret Being Kind. (Keep hopping, and you'll see more!) One of the things I love most about this hobby is that it is inherently kind.  So what could be better than a stamp that encourages even more kindness?  Such a great sentiment! This stamp is easy to use as the focal point of a card...so easy, in fact, that I made 4 right out of the gate!  Each one uses a different technique--this stamp is so versatile. For my first, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on steel grey cardstock.  I then colored over the embossing with my Copics for a m
