We Heart You CFC88

Alrighty, I'm doing triple duty with this card today, which is a good thing, because although it looks pretty clean and simple, it took me a really long time.  Well, that's not saying much.  I'm a slow crafter anyway.

First up is the CAS-ual Fridays challenge to use lettering.

Next up we have the Online Card Class (Clean and Simple 2) Bonus Day 1-Die Cutting

And finally, we have today's Papertrey Make It Monday #103-Double Die Cutting.

Tired yet?  I die cut these heart tags from PTI's Tremendous Tags die, then die cut them again with the Block Alphabet dies.  I adhered the red paper behind, and then decided to glitter the hearts.  Backwards, I know.    I colored those small hearts with my Copic marker to match, and threaded some twine through the tags.  And no stamps.  Weird.

Paper: PTI White, Sweet Blush polka dot, SU Cherry Cobbler
Dies: PTI Tremendous Tags, Block Alphabet
Other: Glitter Ritz Warm Highlight glitter, Prima rhinestone hearts, Copic marker, dimensional tape, twine

Next up we have two products: L...

ELC Look On the Bright Side Kit

Hi friends,  Erin Lee Creative has a fantastic new kit today which coordinates with the previously-released Somewhere Kit .  It's called Look On the Bright Side , and it has a die, stencil and stamp sets with the most perfect sentiments for encouragement cards.  There is also a rainbow alphabet set available as an add-on.   Join us in our blog hop today and comment to enter for a giveaway (see below). Isn't this a great kit? My first card uses the rainbow burst stencil.  I pounced white ink through the stencil, then I used Polychromos pencils to color over the white ink.  This technique allows the color to stand out on dark cardstock.  Of course I had to add a little shine and glitter, so I colored over parts of the rainbow and rays with a shimmer pen. My next two cards were inspired by a T-shirt ad I came across, and I loved the ombré of skin tones.  I really believe that good things are coming, and I absolutely believe that we rise by lift...
