Holiday Extravaganza

In the words of my 9-YO daughter, "This was the best day, EVER!" I got to host a craft day with some of the loveliest women on the planet yesterday. I hadn't met two of them until yesterday, but through the PTI forum, we were already friends. We had a great day crafting, talking, laughing and eating. Perfect! Unfortunately, none of the pics I took was a crafting action shot, but here are some from our gift exchange. You know it's a group of crafters when the packaging is admired as much as the gift!

    Looks like you ladies had fun! :) Meredith, Sonya and I got together a while back but no pictures were taken whatsoever! We were too busy die cutting the entire time! :)

    Love the photos, Cheryl. Seems like you had a wonderful time. When I see photos like this I see a little green with envy and wish I lived close to some of my PTI friends. ;-)

Erin Lee Creative January Release

 Hi friends! Today we are hopping to show off the newest release from Erin Lee Creative .  Once again there is a host of unique stamps, dies and stencils, as well as some amazing rainbow holographic cardstock. *PRIZES* Be sure to comment on the blog entries in the hop so you can enter to win a $50 voucher to use in the ELC shop .  There will be two winners chosen at random from the comments. On to the projects: For my first card, I wanted to showcase this big and bold sentiment from the new Stay Golden  stamp set.   One of my favorite techniques is coloring with Copic markers over the top of white heat embossing.  It is a great way to make colors pop on dark cardstock.    Doesn't this stamp just beg for vibrant colors?
