Papertrey Make It Monday #27

Hi again. I told you I'm still alive...:) I finally decided to join in on PTI's Make It Monday series. It's only #27. What can I say? This technique is coloring on ribbon with Copic markers. So fun.

    So pretty, Cheryl! I am in love with that color combo! You used the new stamps perfectly...great job masking or selectively inking that branch! My girls start school next week and I hope to finally be able to ink up this set (and the others from SAF, too!)

Erin Lee Creative January Release

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the Erin Lee Creative January release .  When I received these products I sat down immediately and started to play.  There are such fun new stamps, dies and stencils.  I'm sure you'll find something you like. First up are two cards made with the same products...the  Stripe Background Stamp  and the  Stripe Sentiments Stamp Set .  There are so many possibilities with just these two products!  I started with an autumn rainbow of distress oxide inks: I really love how these sentiments fit perfectly in the stripes, and they look like the labels we used to make with those vintage label makers (remember turning the wheel and pulling the trigger for the right letters?).  They look especially good when heat embossed.
