Faux Fun-WMS Sketch

Claire is hosting a contest in honor of her 1 year anniversary with Walzingmouse Stamps. If you have not seen her work or her stamps, RUN to her blog and website! This girl is simply amazing. This card is my take on the sketch (with a little creative license sprinkled in...the rounded corners count as circles, right?). Here's the sketch:

I love, love, love this stamp from Waltzingmouse Stamps! I bought the whole set based on this stamp, and I couldn't wait to heat emboss it. I also love that there is an opening for the sentiment. Great work, Claire! The card is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4".
Paper: PTI White, Black, Berry Sorbet
Ink: Versafine Onyx, Versamark
Stamps: WMS Faux Fun Circles, PTI Everyday Classics
Other: Filigree embossing powder, corner chomper

Erin Lee Creative January Release

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the Erin Lee Creative January release .  When I received these products I sat down immediately and started to play.  There are such fun new stamps, dies and stencils.  I'm sure you'll find something you like. We are hopping today (see list below) to show off these great new products.  If you've come from Lindsay Dickason's blog , you're in the right place! There will be two (2) $25 gift certificate winners chosen from the comments on our blogs, so comment away!  Winners will be posted on the Erin Lee Creative Blog on Saturday, February 1. First up:  Stained Glass Stencil I used some pearly embossing paste with this stencil, and as you can see, the results are nice and crisp.  I popped up the "hello" ( Big Hello Love Die ) on some foam for more dimension, and the card is complete.  With a great background like that, a simple word die will finish it without competing. Next up we have two products: L...

Erin Lee Creative November Release

Hello!  I am your last stop on the Erin Lee Creative blog hop for the November release, now available in the shop .  If you haven't seen everyone's creations yet, check the list at the bottom of this post. *PRIZES* Two $50 gift vouchers will be given to winners chosen randomly from comments on each blog in the hop.  Winners will be announced on the Erin Lee Creative blog on November 9. Let's get to the projects! First up are two cards made with the same products...the  Stripe Background Stamp  and the  Stripe Sentiments Stamp Set .  There are so many possibilities with just these two products!  I started with an autumn rainbow of distress oxide inks: I really love how these sentiments fit perfectly in the stripes, and they look like the labels we used to make with those vintage label makers (remember turning the wheel and pulling the trigger for the right letters?).  They look especially good when heat embossed. (Sorry for getting that song...
