Two baby cards

I just realized I hadn't posted these cards yet...I made them over a month ago. Just two little baby cards. I was having fun with the paper piecing.
I always feel like the centers of these flowers need a little sparkle. I couldn't stop myself, so even the buggy's wheels are sparkly. This is one of my favorite PTI color combos--Berry Sorbet, Sweet Blush and Dark Chocolate. Love it.
Card #1:
Paper: PTI Spring Rain, White, Dark Chocolate

For this month's Hop, we are to pay homage to a member of PTI's Design Team. They are all so very talented! I chose a recent project by the amazing Debbie Olson . I loved her simple design with white embossed violets on Raspberry Fizz, with a few little details sprinkled in--sparkly centers, a scored edge and rounded corners. Just beautiful! I actually copied this card exactly, because it was so easy, but then I decided to change it up a bit. Here is my version in Enchanted Evening, with the smaller flowers. I didn't have the right color buttons, so I made a little fancy ribbon edge. The sparkles are flat rhinestone stickers. Best $1.99 I've spent in a while! Thanks for the inspiration, Debbie! May Blog Hop.

This month we were challenged to use yellow.  It doesn't seem like it would be that hard, but for some reason, it can be.  I do love the combination of Berry Sorbet and Lemon Tart, so I stamped the big flower from PTI's Everyday Classics  in Berry Sorbet on white, then cut it out.  The small flowers are stamped in SU Ruby Red and popped up on dimensionals.  For the leaves, I used the wings from the birds in that set.  Enjoy!
