Papertrey Princesses Challenge--Score it

Pam issued this new challenge--to use scoring creatively on a card. I've never done diagonal scoring before, so I thought I'd try it. Then I became a lunatic and decided to put little teeny punched circles on all of the intersections. But I love how it turned out.

This card is for my niece, who just found out that she will be having twins this fall. They are her first babies, and she's a little freaked out, but I know she'll be fine. In fact, I think she'll be a fantastic mom!

Here's a closeup of the scoring and punched dots...
Paper: PTI White, Aqua Mist, Lemon Tart, Bitty Dots patterns
Ink: SU Chocolate Chip
Stamps: Bitty Baby Blessings
Other: Scor-Pal, SU double circle punch, PTI Lemon Tart polka dot satin ribbon, SU Only Orange marker

We are hopping today (see list below) to show off these great new products.  If you've come from Lindsay Dickason's blog , you're in the right place! There will be two (2) $25 gift certificate winners chosen from the comments on our blogs, so comment away!  Winners will be posted on the Erin Lee Creative Blog on Saturday, February 1. First up:  Stained Glass Stencil I used some pearly embossing paste with this stencil, and as you can see, the results are nice and crisp.  I popped up the "hello" ( Big Hello Love Die ) on some foam for more dimension, and the card is complete.  With a great background like that, a simple word die will finish it without competing. Next up we have two products: L...

Hello!  I am your last stop on the Erin Lee Creative blog hop for the November release, now available in the shop .  If you haven't seen everyone's creations yet, check the list at the bottom of this post. *PRIZES* Two $50 gift vouchers will be given to winners chosen randomly from comments on each blog in the hop.  Winners will be announced on the Erin Lee Creative blog on November 9. Let's get to the projects! First up are two cards made with the same products...the  Stripe Background Stamp  and the  Stripe Sentiments Stamp Set .  There are so many possibilities with just these two products!  I started with an autumn rainbow of distress oxide inks: I really love how these sentiments fit perfectly in the stripes, and they look like the labels we used to make with those vintage label makers (remember turning the wheel and pulling the trigger for the right letters?).  They look especially good when heat embossed. (Sorry for getting that song...
