Papertrey Princess Challenge--CASE it!

Good afternoon, ladies! It's my turn to host a Papertrey Princesses challenge, and I thought we could do something to showcase each other. What I would like us to do is to CASE at least one card or project from one other person in our group. Copy it, change up the colors, find inspiration in it--whatever you like. Please link to your person's blog for all to see. To make it easier, we'll just go alphabetically and pick the next person on the list. So...

I get to case Dana. First of all, she is a master of color combinations. She always makes harmony out of colors my brain can't combine, and her cards are simply beautiful. After several pathetic attempts to CASE her work, I've determined that I cannot hold a candle to this girl. Here are two of my favorites:


I must confess that for the life of me, I can't figure out how she masked this flower so well. I tried it three times, and I failed miserably. Nope, not going to show it. I'll just let you bask in its beauty.

I love this second card because of the colors. Dana uses fall colors so well. Here's my not-so-great attempt (BTW, Summer Sunrise really is prettier than that. For the life of me, I cannot photograph it without it looking greenish.):

    OMG Cheryl, you made me blush with this post. How nice of you to say such sweet things! (I use Eclipse Masking Tape in the large roll size for all my masking...it's amazing.) Your take on my fall card is perfect for spring! I love how the flowers are reaching out of the pot and your BG is lovely. The colors blend so well together. The pink ribbon and sentiment really take this card to the next level. Great job.
    I love the idea of this challenge too...so fun and very unique. I'm off to peruse Diane's blog and find something to case!

Erin Lee Creative January Release

 Hi friends!
