Bee Yourself

My friend just signed up to be a Close To My Heart consultant, and she graciously gave me this tiny little stamp set with bees. I don't even know if it has a name, but I like it.

I made this card for a sweet friend of my daughter's (and mine), whose parents are in the middle of a divorce, and she is feeling untethered. I cannot say enough good things about this girl, and I just pray that through this experience she becomes stronger.
This card pulled itself together really quickly. I love how the impression plate looks a little like honeycomb. I masked the little trail from PTI's Little Lady, and the bee is nice and sparkly.

Erin Lee Creative January Release

First up are two cards made with the same products...the  Stripe Background Stamp  and the  Stripe Sentiments Stamp Set .  There are so many possibilities with just these two products!  I started with an autumn rainbow of distress oxide inks: I really love how these sentiments fit perfectly in the stripes, and they look like the labels we used to make with those vintage label makers (remember turning the wheel and pulling the trigger for the right letters?).  They look especially good when heat embossed.
