Christmas 4--Snowflakes

Thanks for hanging in there with me and my GSS entries...These are the last two. I put little rhinestone stickers in the centers of the red snowflakes.
I just love this Night Sky Shimmer paper. It looks so beautiful when it is embossed. I hadn't tried white yet, but here are some white snowflakes, and I really like how they turned out.

  6. excuse my comment that has nothing to do with cards. ( I do LOVE your cards though)

    Stoller.....
I really want your advice. I was thinking of just doing the frame/carseat combo and then an umbrella stroller, because lets face it I am a wimp and need light strollers. Here is my question though, how tall are you? Does you have to bend over to much with the umbrella strollers? Does it hurt your back? What about the lack of storage space on those? Big deal? Have you owned a frame one? I have heard a few little bad reviews about them. Also, I mean I hope to be on what I call the Cheryl Knutti plan and just keep pumping out the babies and get it all over with quick. So I expect to have a second baby only about 1-2 years after the first (granted this could change) But we would just get a double at first then? I really don't want to...i don't know. Have you ever had a double? teach me in your marvelous ways please. I don't know what to do.

February Blog Hop

For this month's Hop, we are to pay homage to a member of PTI's Design Team. They are all so very talented! I chose a recent project by the amazing Debbie Olson . I loved her simple design with white embossed violets on Raspberry Fizz, with a few little details sprinkled in--sparkly centers, a scored edge and rounded corners. Just beautiful! I actually copied this card exactly, because it was so easy, but then I decided to change it up a bit. Here is my version in Enchanted Evening, with the smaller flowers. I didn't have the right color buttons, so I made a little fancy ribbon edge. The sparkles are flat rhinestone stickers. Best $1.99 I've spent in a while! Thanks for the inspiration, Debbie! July Blog Hop

This month's Blog Hop challenge was to use text as a background. I haven't done that in a while. I chose to use the script paper from Raspberry Fizz patterned paper, and I went crazy and made two cards. Yahoo. For this first card, I traced a Maya Road flower, knotted a piece of ribbon and poked it through a hole in the center. The New Leaf ribbon is just looped a little and adhered to itself. This second card didn't turn out quite as well as I had envisioned, but it works fine. It's for a friend of mine, and I just wanted to have a bunch of different kinds of hearts to represent different personalities. Card #1 Paper: PTI White, Bitty Dot black pattern paper, Raspberry Fizz, RF patterns Other: Maya Road flower for template, Raspberry Fizz and New Leaf satin ribbon, dimensional tape Card #2 Paper: PTI White, black, RF patterns Ink: Versafine Onyx, SU PassionPink Stamps: PTI Heart Prints

Hello, friends!  So glad you're here, hopping with us.  (Go here  to see the full blog hop order.)  I am excited to show you this brand new stamp from Lil' Inker Designs , which is part of their May Mini Release.  Leave comments on any of the blogs in this hop to enter to win one of the new stamp sets, the new cover plate, or the angel pets goodies!  Details on the Lil' Inker Designs Blog . This stamp is called Never Regret Being Kind. (Keep hopping, and you'll see more!) One of the things I love most about this hobby is that it is inherently kind.  So what could be better than a stamp that encourages even more kindness?  Such a great sentiment! This stamp is easy to use as the focal point of a card...so easy, in fact, that I made 4 right out of the gate!  Each one uses a different technique--this stamp is so versatile. For my first, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on steel grey cardstock.  I then colored over the...
