Monogram gifts

I did it. I finally got a Cuttlebug. My husband said, "Welcome to the age of Guttenberg!" He is less than intrigued by the low-tech capabilities of this machine, but I, however think it's fabulous, and so do my kids. Oh well. He's striving for a paperless world, and this is my hobby. Yin/Yang.
Here are two sets of cards I made for my SIL's birthdays. The top one features my Cuttlebug goodies--Swiss Dots embossing folder and ribbon slide dies. BTW, I love that ribbon, too. The bottom one uses Guide Lines in Fresh Snow on Enchanted Evening paper. Delish.

    Yay! So glad you got it-you'll love it! Now you can start collecting Nestabilities- if you're interested I can tell you the cheapest place I found for them.

    Your cards are beautiful! I love the white guidelines on EE, great job!

    Beautiful! I LOVE that second card, the blue and white together is definitely delish!! Have fun with your new cuttlebug, I haven't made that leap yet. I'll be watching for more of your embossing!!

    I can see your husband is quite a jokester. I have a wizard and yes, we can all enable you in terms of gadgets and dies to help you spend, er, create more things! Very nice cards.

    Love that first card, the ribbon is perfect! I love my bug too... so much fun to cut stuff out! Now you will need a full complement of nesties

Erin Lee Creative January Release

Hello everyone!  Welcome to the Erin Lee Creative January release .  When I received these products I sat down immediately and started to play.  There are such fun new stamps, dies and stencils.  I'm sure you'll find something you like. ELC Look On the Bright Side Kit

Hi friends,  Erin Lee Creative has a fantastic new kit today which coordinates with the previously-released Somewhere Kit .  It's called Look On the Bright Side , and it has a die, stencil and stamp sets with the most perfect sentiments for encouragement cards.  There is also a rainbow alphabet set available as an add-on.   Join us in our blog hop today and comment to enter for a giveaway (see below). Isn't this a great kit? My first card uses the rainbow burst stencil.  I pounced white ink through the stencil, then I used Polychromos pencils to color over the white ink.  This technique allows the color to stand out on dark cardstock.  Of course I had to add a little shine and glitter, so I colored over parts of the rainbow and rays with a shimmer pen.
