More Baby

I haven't posted for a while, but that's not to say I haven't been busy...I have actually been working on projects to submit to publications. I've never done that before, so I'm a little intimidated, but what have I got to lose?

Here are a couple of baby cards I've made recently. This first one I paper-pieced the onesie and the little bunny, and I added a little sparkle with a clear stardust pen on all of the lavender dots (click to enlarge). The card is 4 1/4" square.


I spent entirely too much time on this second one, trying to make it perfect. I am happy with the results, though.


You'd never know it from my (lack of) photography skills, but these two pictures are of the same card. The first one shows the colors better, but the second one shows the depth and paper-piecing better. I punched out 3 squares from the Spring Rain cardstock, then stamped the boats and paper-pieced them. The ribbon really is Pure Poppy, I promise. Help me!

    Second picture is way better... less flat looking... Dont you hate it when your photography is not as good as your crafting??? Happens to me all the time! Love both your cards.. especially that little boat.

    I love these cards! Too cute!

    And if only I still lived in the UC. I think I would have much better stories than in SLC, but I would have killed myself first.

    Both of these cards are great! I love the glitter you added to the first one...I'll bet that took a while, though! Very cute baby cards.

Erin Lee Creative January Release
