CPS/Papertrey Challenge

This next card challenge is a collaboration between Papertrey and Card Positioning Systems (CPS), which issues sketch challenges each week. I have tried and tried to copy and paste the sketch here, but to no avail. Anywho, this is my little (3 x 3) Valentine for the challenge.


Here is a different angle to show how sparkly the heart really is. I wish I could capture glitter with my camera better. Also, that ribbon was on sale for 55 cents a spool! LOVE it!

Supplies:
Paper: PTI White, Lemon Tart
Ink: SU Real Red, PTI Berry Sorbet
Stamps: PTI Heart Prints
Other: Offray Ribbon, Essential Glue Pad, superfine glitter, dimensional tape

    Whoohoo! 50 cents a spool?! Cool! I LOVE the sparkle on the heart! And while I struggled to capture the sparkle on the heart on my card for the PTI (not CPS) sketch challenge (lost the sunlight, but even worse....the darn wind kept blowing my card over....kerplunk!!!), you did great!!

    On a side note....you are always so friendly on the PTI forum and its always nice to post and blog with people who are so friendly! :>

    Hope you're having fun Not doing laundry!!! (I swear there is a laundry breeding program in my house..........I finish five loads and suddenly there are five more...........huh?!)

For this month's Hop, we are to pay homage to a member of PTI's Design Team. They are all so very talented! I chose a recent project by the amazing Debbie Olson . I loved her simple design with white embossed violets on Raspberry Fizz, with a few little details sprinkled in--sparkly centers, a scored edge and rounded corners. Just beautiful! I actually copied this card exactly, because it was so easy, but then I decided to change it up a bit. Here is my version in Enchanted Evening, with the smaller flowers. May Blog Hop.

This month we were challenged to use yellow.  It doesn't seem like it would be that hard, but for some reason, it can be.  I do love the combination of Berry Sorbet and Lemon Tart, so I stamped the big flower from PTI's Everyday Classics  in Berry Sorbet on white, then cut it out.  The small flowers are stamped in SU Ruby Red and popped up on dimensionals.  For the leaves, I used the wings from the birds in that set.  Enjoy! Lil' Inker Designs Mini Release Blog Hop
