What I Do Instead of Laundry

What happens when 20 women gather in one place for 12 hours?  Lots of talking, laughing and eating, and a little bit of crafting--but you wouldn't know it by all the luggage that was brought!  Here is my one and only Stamp-A-Faire completed card, and it didn't even follow any challenges.  Ah well, it was a fabulous day with friends anyway! Here's the inspiration photo for Papertrey's July Blog Hop: Isn't this picture beautiful?  Love those colors together. I die cut one of the new Mega Gracious Vases out of vellum, then used it as a stencil template for the vase on the card.  I masked the bottom of the rose and sponged Berry Sorbet ink.  I don't own Simply Chartreuse, so I used New Leaf and Spring Moss instead.  Enjoy! Okay, here's my last one.  I think it's my favorite.  A few months ago, I was in Ikea, and I saw a framed picture of some cut-out flying birds, and of course I thought, "I could make that".  So I did.  The middles of the butterflies are not quite punched out, and I found that the best way to do that was to leave one punched butterfly in the die when running through my Cuttlebug.  Make sense? Here are two versions of another attempt at Gallery Idol.  Half-Pint Heroines from WMS again.  Love this set!  A little creative masking with the arm stamps from Half-Pint Heroes, and voila!  She's holding the elephant. (I also added a comma, because I'm a stickler like that...Thank Mrs. Dann and my 7th grade English class.)
